Jonah Hill was spotted slipping into a black wetsuit in order to enjoy a surf day in sunny Malibu this Thursday. 

The 37-year-old movie star was seen riding the tide toward the sand and at one point getting caught in a crashing wave.

Later on he was seen showing off his sprawl of tattoos as he went shirtless and wrapped a towel around his waist.

The Superbad star has frequently been seen surfing lately and has easy access to the beach courtesy of the $6.7 million home he bought in Santa Monica in 2019.

Jonah last month became one of the many Americans who have welcomed dogs into their lives during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

He adopted a three-year-old pit bull called Fig from Love Leo Rescue, he announced on Instagram while thanking the shelter. 

Jonah brought Fig home about three months after news emerged that he and Gianna Santos had called off their roughly yearlong engagement.  

His upcoming movies include Don’t Look Up whose stars include Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and Timothee Chalamet.

In recent weeks while Jonah has been seen surfing in the California sunshine Jennifer, Leo and wyn 4d Timothee have been filming in chilly Boston. 

Don’t Look Up is a political satire directed by Adam McKay who has lately been known for such movies as Vice and The Big Short.

The film also includes elements of disaster movies as it concerns an asteroid that is reputedly heading for Earth and about to wipe out the planet.

Jennifer plays an astronomer who finds out about the asteroid and starts doing publicity rounds in order to spread the word.

Leonardo leads the movie with her as her fellow astronomer who begins sounding the alarm with her about the crisis.

Adam’s star-studded cast includes top-flight names like Ariana Grande, Ron Perlman, Tyler Perry, Melanie Lynskey and Chris Evans.
